Direct Deposit Program

If you are currently enrolled in Direct Deposit, then you are in good company. Over 90% of Property Owners participating in the New York State Homes & Community Renewal Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) are enrolled in Direct Deposit.

If you are new to the Housing Choice Voucher Program, you are probably already aware that all newly participating Owners are required to sign up for Direct Deposit of their HAP checks.

The advantages to Direct Deposit are numerous:

• Direct Deposits are safer. Unlike physical checks, they cannot be lost or stolen in the mail
• Direct Deposits are faster. The funds are deposited into your account on the first weekday of the month
• Direct Deposits are more convenient. There is no need to go to the bank to deposit the funds into your account

To sign up for the Direct Deposit Program, please submit a completed copy of the Direct Deposit Authorization Form and a voided check through Drop Off, Mail, Fax, or Email as addressed below
