As of February 18, 2025, all wait list applications and applicant updates must be submitted through the applicant portal. The Applicant Portal and Web App are available at: https://section8.hcr.ny.gov. For assistance with registering, please contact our Call Center at 833-791-2748 open daily Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Paper applications are available as a reasonable accommodation. Should you require a paper application, please contact: 914-873-1045. .
Please beware of internet scams. It is important to remember that there is no fee or payment for an application to the section 8 program.
Below is the current status of CVR's wait lists. Please note that the Housing Choice Voucher program wait list is closed as of July 16, 2021. When it reopens, CVR will publish public notice via local media.
